HEDGEHOG HILL FARM is in East Sumner, Maine, a village situated in the foothills of western Maine, about 25 miles northwest of Lewiston/Auburn. Department of Transportation signs in Buckfield and Sumner will direct you to the farm.

From the Maine Turnpike: Exit 75 Auburn. Take a left to Rt. 4 North. Continue until a blinking light at the junction of Rt. 117. Take a left and continue on Rt. 117 South to Buckfield. In Buckfield you will see signs opposite Northeast Bank, by the bridge, directing you to take a left onto High Street. Continue for 1/4 mile and you will see another sign by the church on the hill to take a right onto Old Sumner Road (which later, in approximately one mile BECOMES Bonney Road in Sumner). Take a right and continue for 2.5 miles until you see another HHF sign. Take a right onto Hedgehog Hill Road. Over the little hill and you are there!

From Augusta: Take Rt. 202 West to Winthrop. In Winthrop take a right to Rt. 133 to Wayne, watching for junction of Rt. 219. Take a left and continue to Sumner. In Sumner, you will see a Congregational church on the left. Immediately after the church, take a left onto Bonney Road. There is a steep short hill where the road turns left. Continue for almost 2.5 miles. Take a left onto Hedgehog Hill Road. Over the little hill and you are there!

From Norway/S. Paris: Take Rt. 117 North to Buckfield over Streaked (pronounced Streek-Ed) Mountain.  In Buckfield you will see Northeast Bank. Take a left over a little bridge and again a left after the bridge onto High Street. Continue for 1/4 mile and you will see another sign by the church on the hill to take a right onto Old Sumner Road. Take a right and continue for 2.5 miles until you see another HHF sign. Take a right onto Hedgehog Hill Road. Over the little hill and you are there!

From Bethel: Take Rt. 26 towards West Paris, watching out for junction of Rt. 219. At the junction (Trapp Corner), take a left and continue for about 15 miles until you pass West Sumner Village and drive by Hartford Sumner Elementary School. Slow down within 1/4 mile after that, watching for the church. Right before the church, there will be a very sharp (almost U-turn) turn to the right. That is Bonney Road. Continue for 2.5 miles until you see another HHF sign and Hedgehog Hill Road. Take a left. Over the little hill and you are there!
