PLANNING YOUR GARDENS

Happy New Year to all of our gardening friends. We hope that you will make some of your garden plans early enough to take advantage of this broad selection and the significant savings if you order by April 1. If you order by March 1, you will also receive a special gift a pack of four perennial plants. By ordering early, you enjoy the savings, the gifts, and often, the rare plants that we have in limited quantities. Whether you order early or not, you can be assured that you will receive highest-quality, hardy plants so that yourgardening will be successful whether you are an expert or a novice.

HOW TO ORDER PLANTS

There is an order form on the last page of this catalogue. Plants may be ordered from receipt
of this catalogue until April 19.
After April 19, we will not reserve plants. You may, however, come directly to the farm and choose from the broad selection for sale at our annual Open House, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, May 5, 6, and 7, and thereafter.
At the beginning of each catalogue section, a paragraph or chart, gives plant prices. If you order your plants by April 1, use the first and lower price posted in each section. Orders postmarked after April 1 are still welcome, but will be charged the full spring price. No minimum order is necessary at any time.
Each order must include at least a 25% deposit of the full amount of your purchase. The balance may be paid when you pick up your plants in May.
No deposits will be refunded after April 19.

ORDERING ELECTRONICALLY

Customers who prefer e-mail to the US mail are welcome to send orders to our e-mail address: gardens@HedgehogHillFarm.com. Until April 19 you may also fax us your order at (207) 388-2342. Make certain to include all the information outlined on the order form, page 35. Postmark dates are the same as those for the regular mail. E-mail deposits may be charged by giving us your credit card number and expiration date. We accept all major credit cards.

WHEN AND WHERE TO GET YOUR PLANTS

Plants will be ready after 9 a.m. on the opening day of the Open House, Friday, May 5, BUT NOT BEFORE. You may pick up your plants at the Open House. If you do not want your order on that weekend, we will reserve your plants until the end of May. Make special arrangements with us in advance if you need orders held in reserve after the end of May. Please remember that we do not ship plants. They must be picked up at the farm.

PLANNING YOUR GARDENS

We hope that you enjoy reading through the 2006 catalogue. We have added a number of new offerings, many in response to your requests over past seasons. When we are writing our catalogue and making plans for the spring, we expect to have ample supplies of all the plants in our catalogue, barring severe winter or spring weather and too many visits from hungry deer. If you order plants that are not available come spring, we will let you know so that you can either choose a substitute or delete them from your order.
While placing your order, if you have questions about your gardens or if we can help you plan your upcoming season, remember that we are available in person, by e-mail, or by phone. Our reference library, greenhouses, and shop are open every day except Mondays, March 21 through the fall, from 9 to 5. Please feel free to stop by with questions during that time. At other times we are open only by appointment or by chance, but send us an e-mail anytime and we will answer it promptly.
